Fishing

Mechanical Cutters
Use Cases:
Cutting tubing, casing, or drill pipe using mechanically actuated blades
Used in fishing operations to sever pipe when retrieval is required
Preparing the wellbore for recovery or further intervention after cutting operations

Tubing Spear
Use Cases:
Engaging and retrieving tubing or pipe from the inside diameter during fishing operations
Recovering stuck or parted tubing strings from the wellbore
Providing a secure internal grip when external engagement is not possible

Intensifier
Use Cases:
Shallow holes where little pipe stretch is available
Extended reach or highly deviated wells where jar performance could suffer due to hole drag
Enhancing effectiveness of jar strings when freeing stuck pipe or tools
Providing additional acceleration to improve impact force in restricted or deep applications
Supplements insufficient drill pipe stretch during jarring operations
Prevents jarring shock waves and other vibrations from travelling up the drill string
Sealed and lubricated spline drive ensures long service life under high torque and stroking applications
Full torque can be transmitted through the accelerator
External sealing surfaces are tungsten-carbide coated to enhance wear and corrosion resistance.
Standard seals in the tool are effective to 250ºF (120ºC). Our hot hole seal kit is available for operation in environments up to 400ºF (200ºC)

150 Ton Casing Jacks
Use Cases:
Pulling or freeing stuck casing during workover or abandonment operations
Applying controlled upward force without requiring external power units
Assisting in casing recovery or removal where high load capacity is required
Stuck Dognuts

Lubricated Bumper Sub
Use Cases:
Providing controlled axial movement in the string to absorb shock and reduce tool damage
Assisting in freeing stuck tools by allowing jarring or bumping action
Used in fishing or intervention operations where limited movement improves tool performance
Sealed and lubricated spline drive that provides long service life under high torque and stroking applications.
Standard seals in the tool are effective to 250°F (120°C); can be dressed with seals effective to 400°F (200°C) for hot hole environments
External sealing surfaces are tungsten carbide coated to enhance wear and corrosion resistance

Casing Swages
Use Cases:
Reforming or expanding damaged casing to restore internal diameter
Driving through collapsed or restricted sections to regain access downhole
Preparing casing for tool passage or further intervention operations

Screw Grabs
Use Cases:
Engaging and retrieving wireline, rope, or cable from the wellbore
Recovering dropped or parted lines during fishing operations
Providing internal or external grip on soft or flexible fish where standard tools are not effective

Junk Baskets
Use Cases:
Recovering debris, metal fragments, or junk from the wellbore during cleanout operations
Removing loose obstructions prior to fishing or intervention work
Preparing the wellbore for further operations by clearing unwanted material

Impression Blocks
Use Cases:
Determining the size, shape, and condition of fish or obstructions in the wellbore
Identifying engagement points prior to selecting appropriate fishing tools
Assisting in planning recovery operations by providing a physical impression of downhole conditions

Magnets
Use Cases:
Recovering metallic debris or small loose parts from the wellbore
Retrieving dropped tools, bolts, or fragments during cleanout operations
Assisting in wellbore cleanup prior to further intervention or completion work

Hydraulic Jars
Use Cases:
Intended for fishing, coring and milling applications but tough enough for drilling applications
Delivering impact force to free stuck pipe, tools, or assemblies
Impact force is controlled by a metering device that ensures consistent delay times over the full range of operating temperatures
A long, splined mandrel ensures the jar is not affected by torsional forces, the spline is sealed and lubricated to minimize friction and extend tool life
Free stroke of 4″ to 6″ (depending on tool size) provides an impact force to the stuck point several times higher than the overpull force applied to the jar
Standard seals are effective to 250ºF (120ºC), and the HJ can be dressed with seals effective to 400ºF (200ºC) for hot hole environments
All external sealing surfaces are coated with wear and corrosion resistant tungsten carbide

Die Collars
Use Cases:
Cutting threads onto the outside of tubing or pipe to engage and retrieve fish
Recovering pipe where internal tools (like spears) are not suitable
Used in fishing operations when a secure threaded connection is required for pulling

Gauge Rings
Use Cases:
Verifying internal diameter of tubing or casing before running downhole tools
Detecting restrictions, scale, or deformation in the wellbore
Ensuring proper clearance to prevent tool damage or sticking during operations

Tubing Overshot
Use Cases:
Engaging and retrieving fish by gripping the outside diameter of tubing or pipe
Recovering stuck or parted pipe during fishing operations
Providing a secure external catch when internal tools (like spears) are not suitable

Mechanical Bumper Subs
Use Cases:
Providing axial movement in the string to allow controlled bumping action
Assisting in freeing stuck tools or assemblies during fishing operations
Allowing limited stroke to help with tool engagement and manipulation downhole

Oversocket
Use Cases:
Engaging and retrieving fish by gripping the outside diameter with aggressive slip design
Recovering damaged or irregular pipe where standard overshots may not hold
Providing a strong external catch in heavy-duty fishing operations

Taper Tap
Use Cases:
Cutting internal threads into the inside diameter of fish to engage and retrieve pipe
Recovering tubing or drill pipe where internal engagement is preferred
Used in fishing operations when external tools (like overshots or box taps) are not suitable
